Good Shepherd elementary after-school programs are designed to reinforce lessons learned during school time in new and creative ways, while at the same time providing opportunities for young people to expand their horizons by learning new skills and nurturing special talents and interests. Special events and shows during the year help to highlight our students’ accomplishments and provide opportunities for parents to take pride in their child’s achievements and become involved in the school community.

Children take part in academic, arts, physical education, leadership development, and field trips to cultural institutions around the city. Additionally, youth in need of physical or mental health services are referred to external supports and there is a strong emphasis on incorporating parents/caregivers as leaders and decision makers in all facets of programming.
