Orton-Gillingham-based, hands-on, structured literacy instruction in phonemic awareness, alphabet knowledge, academic vocabulary, and handwriting, promote foundational literacy success.
SPIRE:
Intensive, multisensory reading program for students needing more support with foundational literacy skills.
Phonics for Reading:
Provides targeted phonics instruction to help students develop accurate word recognition and spelling.
REWARDS:
Structured program focused on spelling, reading comprehension, and word study for students in need of more support.
HMH English 3D:
English 3D® is an explicit and interactive English Language Development curriculum designed by Dr. Kate Kinsella. English 3D enables multilingual learners to rapidly acquire the language skills necessary for academic success.
Curriculum Enrichment Opportunities
iReady: i-Ready is an online program for reading and mathematics that will help your student’s teacher(s) determine your student’s needs, personalize their learning, and monitor progress throughout the school year. Students should log into iReady to complete lessons in school and at home. The goal is for students to engage in lessons for 45 minutes per week in reading and 45 minutes per week in mathematics.
HMH Inquiry Projects: Engaging, research-based projects that allow students to explore topics in depth, promoting critical thinking and creativity.
Teacher-Led Clubs and Projects: Opportunities for students to participate in Book Clubs, Media Clubs, and Project-Based Learning, fostering collaboration, curiosity, and leadership skills.
